One engine. Four legs. No atmosphere to help you. Set the lander down gently on the marked pad before the fuel runs out.
Touch down inside a lit landing pad with the lander upright and slow. Anything else is a crater.
The engine pushes along the lander's own up axis, so tilt the ship to travel sideways. Gravity is 1.62 m/s², about a sixth of Earth: you fall slowly, but you also slow down slowly.
Stability assist cancels rotation toward level while it is on. Turn it off for a heavier, more classic feel, or use it as a safety net on your first landing.
Soft touchdown, remaining fuel, landing precision and mission time all add to the score. A clean pad landing always beats a hard one.
